Hi Experts,
I am trying to configure state unemployment insurance (SUI)
SUI is not getting calculated as per the rate maintained in the table V_T5UTX.
There is no override in BSI as well as in SAP table(V_BTXRATE).
for eg . OH in table V_T5UTX it is .031.
and no override data in BSI as well as in SAP table(V_BTXRATE).
but it is not calculating as per this rate. and it is very first payroll in 2011.
What could be the missing step?
All answers are appreciable,
Thanks,
vinoli
Hi Giselle,
Formula number in IT210 is 01. also in the log also formula for taxtype 10 is 01. hence that is matching. still it is not calculating properly.
Howard,
Tax model is correct and processing class 71 too. still not calculating.
please suggest some more steps

Vinoli,
Please update SAP Table V_BTXRATE and update BIS. If you havenu2019t addressed the tax model work, that needs to be done also. The key to understanding tax models is the value in Processing Class 71 of each wage type. Thereu2019s a Wiki on tax models at the following URL: http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPHCM/Taxability+Model

Hi Vinoli,
Here are a couple of things you can check:
-Run the payroll driver in test mode, and for the tax type check the formula number being used it is denoted by parameter FN:
-Check the employee's infotype 210 to see what the default formula is there too, as this can be the cause.
