Plant specific default block of material

Hi All,

i want to block the material during creation on plant level and for this i want plant specific material staus block by default .

for this what settings i have to do .

Hi,

Try Tcode:OMS4 and customize as per your requirement.In MM01 puchasing view Plant-sp.matl status give your requirement and save it.The material block for particular plant only.

Hi,

During material creation (MM01) you need to assign or enter Blocking Key( which is cretaed in t.code: OMS4) in the field X-plant matl status Basic data view or in the filed of Plant-sp.matl status in Purchasing view & save.

my question is when i will create an material master than in the Purchaing tab "plant sepcific staus " it should automatically come staus "01"or "02" because still it's coming blank .

you want to block the Plant for material creation ? .i.e No more material should be created for that plant .

Hi,

Go to OMS2, here in the detailed screen of material type, mainatain the "X-plant matl status" and then create material, it will get blocked while creating the material.

If i understand your question correctly, all materials should get blocked automatically (without the creator setting the block) on creation, then i dont think any config way is there to do it.

Check for UE/Enhancements on save action on material.

OMS2 - > select matl type-> details -> set the x-plant matl status.
