Upload of PIR in MD61 on weekly basis

Dear PP Experts,

I have uploaded the PIR in MD61 for the current month. I have done the following.

1. For the current month I have entered the Plan on weekly basis and for the next consequentive months I have uploaded the Plan on Monthly basis.

2. When I again check the same plan in MD63 for the same period of the current month starting with 01.06.2011 I am not able to see the first weeks plan which I have uploaded.

Also when I refer the BI report developed for the planed figures of the current month the first weeks quantity are not not appearing in the report as well.

This is because when I upload the plan on weekly basis system considers the plan on first date of every week. As a result, in case of first week for the month of June the start of the week is 30th May and the plan quantities are seen as requirement of May and not as requirement of June.

Can anybody tell me how I can load the weekly plan or is there any setting to be done so that when I upload the plan on weekly basis for the month of June it should remain in June and not in May.

Pl. let me know how this can be done.

Hi...

In this case you have to upload the PIR in MD61 on daily basis.

E.g. if you want to put a requirement for the month on weekly basis put requirement on day 07th of the month and then 14th of the month and then 21st of the month and then 28th of the month.

Iif you want to put a requirement for the month on monthly basis put requirement on day 30th of the month.

And also do one setting in material master's MRP view1 field Maximum lot size:- Put one day production qty. This entry will restrict system to make different orders so that requirement will not move to previous month.

Thanks for the reply. That is one way of doing it, but is it possible for the system to consider the 1st day of current month when the plan is enetered on weekly basis.

In case if the plan is enetered on monthly basis with the planning horison as 01.06.2011 to 31.07.2011 then the PIR is seen on the 1st day of the month. Similarly, is it possible that if the plan is enetered on weekly basis with the same planning horizon i.e. 01.06.2011 to 31.07.2011 system should show the plan on the 1st day of the month instead of going back to the previous month.

No.

As per my knowledge it can not be done. Because the same issue I faced in my previous project. As whenever you put the requirement on weekly basis system understand you have to deliver the material on the Ist day of that week and same for monthly basis and as per the lead time system calculate the order start date.

That's why planning horizon would not work in that.

In Forcast upload.,we have tcode md61,md62 and md63 .

In our req, We have text file which we r passing to Zprogram to upload forcast. In this We want to update pBIm and PBED tables and we cn display forcast in MD63. Now standard sap program works and upload in Weekwise only even if we are passing Month Or day in our text file.

It is using standard bapi "Bapi_requirements_create" to update PBIm and PBEd tables and den it will display in Md63 in Week wise only.

Only thorugh bapi we can upload tables. Since it is standard bapi, we cannot make changes to it. and within the bapi itself they are splitting and converting to week and updating tables.

Now, Is there any way we can upload the tables the way we want. that is either month or week or day.

Is it possible thorugh Spro??

And yes  if we do it manually through MD62, we can get data in month or week or day wise format. So basically Manually it allows us to update data of our choice but sap standard program allows only week wise.

Please suggest or or you can discuss with PP consultant.

I tried copy bapi to zbapi but it is not possible as it gives  many syntax checks..and other probs
