Search Help in VF02 trasaction

Hi All,

I cannot see any values when i say F4 in VF02 tarnsaction,though there are many billing documents created in system.

I dunt think i have to create any search help for this,coz its a standard transction.

Do we have to enable something....

I would appreciate any help in this regard.

Hi Suzane,

The search help attached in VF02 is a collective search help VMCF, which consists of the following elementary search helps:

VMCFA Billing documents still to be passed on to accounting

VMCFB Rebate credit memos - Sales

VMCFE Rebate debit memos - Purchasing

VMCFC Transferred to accounting: Accrual not yet complete

If none of your billing documents meets the selections of one of these you won't get any results. (this earch help is not intended to get an overview of all billing documents in your system).

Hi John,

Yeah i know, but i have some billing documents which were not posted in Accounting.

How Can i modify this search help,so as to see all the billing documents even if they are passed in to accounts.

Hi Suzane,

Just define your own elementary search help with the requirements you want and then assign this elementary search help to the standard collective search help. When pressing F4 you can then choose your own search help for the display of billing documents.

If you look at each of those included search help, it use a selection method of a view. When you look at each of those view, there are selection conditions when reading table VBRK. Using se16, check whether you will find any document in VBRK that meets that selection condition.
