subrouters and routing step custom data are not included in site transfer

We have a three tier architecture consisting of development, quality and production SAP ME system. Our modeling group creates new routings in quality system, verifies it with tracking SFCs and then we transfer routing to other systems using site to site transfer.

There are two kinds of data missing:

u2022 Subrouters have to be transferred separately which is not logic and takes additional effort.

u2022 We are using custom data on router steps, which are not transferred at all. It is not acceptable for us to type in custom data for each reporting step a second time.

I have checked existing possibilities of export template maintenance. On SFC level custom data can be enabled or disabled but this seems not to possible for materials. Did I miss some configuration or is this a bug?

    Hi,

As concerns #1, you are correct about the need of importing subrouters beforehand. It is the idea that all config data referenced from the current import should already exist on destination site. This is by design.

As to #2, Custom Data Fields as export option is mentioned for SFC export templetes only. But SFC-related templates are related to production data rather than to configuration data (where routing config belongs to). So, you cannot transfer Custom Data for routing in the current implementation of S2S activity. If you need this change, you can request a customization or suggest improvement to future releases.

    Regards,

    Sergiy
