Hi fellow SAP'ers
I investigation the uses of the soon-to-be released NW Single Sign-On (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/index?rid=/webcontent/uuid/d0a0ff07-5a63-2e10-8ab6-a6db0a3db73d [original link is broken]).
My use case is that I have a portal that uses ABAP as UME, but has SPNego configured. Which is perfect for most users. But a few computers are used by many users, which does not log on to Windows with their own identity but a shared one. BUT when they access the portal, they should log on with their own credentials. This is bad, since SPNego tries to use the shared indentity, and it I fall back to forms based authentication they must use their ABAP password which is a no-go. It must be the AD password!
I hoped that the new solution could fix my problem, but it seems not to be the case. Does anyone understand the documentation othervise?

Thomas Mouritsen
