Anonymous Logon Page on EP6 WAS640

I am having problems with anonymous logon on EP6 WAS640. I have done all the usual stuff - created an iView (portal launcher) and page with Anonymous authentication schemes, added them to an anon role, which was added to the anon user group with and anon user in the group. I have updated the UME settings in system config, and redirected the portal in the index.html page on the server. Still nothing happens - no anonymous area appears when you fire up the portal. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?

    Hi Cindy,

    > anon role, which was added to the anon user group

A role added to a group?!?!

This is impossible on 6.20 and would be a strange concept. Was it a typo or have things changed? (I expect that you have added the group to the created role, this makes sense: Anon user belongs to the anon group, this play the created role, so anon user should see anon role.)

Anyhow, if you have done so, in fact what di you see? Just an empty portal?

    Best regards

    Detlev

The role anon has been assigned to the user group anon so all users in this group have the role anon. If you look up the anon user it has the anon role.

What I end up with is going straight to the log on screen when you fire up the portal. No sign of any anon logon area/pages at all.

This has now been sorted - I had the wrong path for the redirection.
