PLM viewer crashes IE & NWBC

Hi,

I have installed Product visualization 7.1 SP03 and have ECC 6.0 with EHP4 and JAVA 1.6 update 24. While viewing JPG files in NWBC/Web UI (Internet explorer) , as soon as the viewer start downloading the file for Display the application (NWBC/ IE) crashes.

Is anyone aware what could be wrong.

Try these notes they might help: 1431218, Also ensure you are on teh latest version available.

I have gone thru the note. I am currently using NWBC 3.0 and also updated the ECL viewer, but the problem still continues.

The issue was resolved after installing a new version of Deepview viewer for RH files.

Hi Abhishek,

When you say Deepviewer, I guess you are not referring to Deepviewer version that is available on Right hemisphere's website for free download. I'm assuming you are suggesting the product visulaization software that is available on service.sap.com (authorized downloads only). To be clear about my point the latest version of Product Visualization that is available with SAP is

PV7201_0-20007860.exe. Is this what you are suggesting?

For some reason, The software is extracting the files but not kicking off the installer. I could however install earlier version than this (PV7200_0-20007860.exe). The viewer is loading in IE but failed to render the RH file. Any ideas what went wrong?

I am facing the same issue. My IE browser and NWBC client both crash when opening a JPG file. I have Product Visualization PV71SP03_0-20005499.EXE  installed.

Were you able to resolve this issue?
