'Memory problems on dataload' + 'Linux SLES9 x86_64' und 'Oracle 10.2.0.4.0' und 'SAP-BW'
Hello experts,
we have a problem by performance with dataload into cube(s).
On every workday we take a new dataload of our BW-Cube. It ist one cube to load. This Cube have round about 10 million
data-sentences to load and need more than 3 hours.
In the last days the load performance is going up and down for average 1 till 2 hours for the same 10 million data-sentences.
More infos of our configuration: Linux sles 9 x86_64 Bit, Oracle 10.2.0.4.0, SAP-Netweaver 7.0 64-Bit
RAM: 8 GB under virtuell VM (Database and Instanz are on separate Servers).
The Jobchain ist going on to separated there processes in datapackets of 50.000 data-sentences. The job-chain
is in process with 3 work-processes to work.
Nu, my question: It is possible to tune up this process ot dataload to higher performance. For example by push up BI or Oracle-parameters, or also to linux-system parameters ? And which parameters are helpfully ...
Thanks for reading,
and i will hopefull for some ideas..
