How is batch master related to batch?
Must storage location = batch = valuation type?

MCH1 - Batches (Cross-Plant)
MCHA - Batches (Plant Wise)
MCHB - Batch stock
MCHB_CHARG - View for batches
MCHBH - Batch stock history by period
How is batch master related to batch?
The Batch master gives us the Date of Manufacture, SLED Date, Class, classification and more. So when you use this batch for anything, all these data will be transferred. The Batch related to the batch master by means of Material/Batch/Plant/Storage location.
Must storage location = batch = valuation type?
The Material can have different batches for the same storage location.
The Material can have different valuation type for the same Plant.
So when you receive the material, you have to specify the Valuation type, plant and storage location.
The storage location and Valuation type don't need to be the same as batch.

How is batch master related to batch?
If you want to crete batch then you need to crete batch master first and it should have production start date and SLED date

When you recive the material it will update batch in plant and storage location.
