Load from DSO to Cube failing with error

Former Member

Hello All,

We have recently moved from Bw3.x to 7.0. The authorizations are still in 3.x and have not migrated yet.

While trying to design a new data model ( 1 DSO, 1 cube and ECC Datasource) , I am able to do load till DSO using DTP and transformations but while doing a load to cube from DSO it fails with the follwing error in the job log:

"Your user master record is not sufficiently maintained for object Custom Hierarchy 0TCTAUTHH"

1. I tried removing all Authorization relevant characteristics from the infocube but that didnt worked.

2. Also, as a test run the direct load from datasource/PSA to cube goes through successfully without the above error.

Any idea why is this happening only when it is loaded from DSO and how can this be resolved.

Thanks in advance.

Rgs,

Parth.

Hello there,

When you use BI 7.0, the new authorization concept is automatically chosed, even if you haven't migrated the authorizations yet.

If you want to still use the old 3.x authorization method (until you've migrated and tested the new authorizations) you can check how to in transaction RSSM

Go to RSSM and you'll see how you can revert to the old 3.x method.

Or you can go to the transaction RSCUSTV23

Hope this helps,

Thanks for the quick reply.

The tcode RSCUSTV23 still maintains the value:

"Obsolete concept with RSR Authorization object"

Also, nothing has changed in RSSM, everything is maintained as it was in 3.x. Still the error is not allowing us to load data.

Thanks.

Ok,

Still, please check the object 0TCTAUTHH under the transaction rsd1 and see in the tab businessExplorer if it is marked as authorizationRelevant

Hope this helps,

Yes, it is marked as Authorization Relevant. Any inputs.
