Availability of 'ABAP Unit' for Release 6.20

the new unit-test framework 'ABAP Unit' came to our attention. As far as we know it is only available in Release 6.40. But an upgrade to this version in our company is not likely to happen in the next maybe 4 to 5 years. Nevertheless we would like to incorporate unit-tests on the basis of 'ABAP Unit' into our testing concept.

So is there any possibility to integrate 'ABAP Unit' into Release 6.20 ?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick Baer

Don't think so...there are some downport tools (eg Memory Inspector, Assertions) available for WAS 6.20 with SP29.

See OSS note 606368 and 644640.

Unfortunately ABAP Unit is not listed there.
