Hi,
I have just installed NW04 ABAP + J2EE addon using the following method.
1) Install Was 6.40 Abap
2) License the system
3) Install J2EE 6.40 add-on for Abap
4) Applied stack 9 for Abap
5) Applied stack 9 for J2EE
The ABAP engine is licensed correctly, however when I start the J2EE web page and then select system information it shows as being an unlicensed system and that the current temporary license will expire in 24 days.
My understanding was that if you installed the J2EE add-on for ABAP that the license carried through to the J2EE instance.
I have had a look at the licensing Adapter, in the Visual Administrator and that also shows no license. Should I be concerned or is this just a bug?
Cheers
Ed
Hi,
no problem the System Info page will show the J2EE license but the ABAP one counts, e.g. this will go negative but the J2EE still runs. No bug just not nice.
