SAP Portal Developement-Kit Beta: failed to connect Add-in

When visual-studio 2003/prof loads PDK-Addin

Message-Box shows error:

Failed to connect SAP-Add-in. The parameter is incorrect

SAP-Icons are in toolbox, portal is running.

OS is Windows 2003-Sever (small-business).

Thanks

Karl-Heinz

Visual Studio .NET professional is supported only by PDK for .NET 1.0 Patch 1. The Beta release (which I understand you are using) runs on Visual Studio Enterprise.

yes, you can install the PDK on your machine first, but you wll not be able to preview (run) your portal component until you get portal access.

No need to uninstall the connector 2.0 (if it's the formal release and not the beta. If it's the beta, un-install it.)

      Regards,

      Ofer
