NUMKR Feature

Hi All,

I am facing problem in assigning personnel number during hiring action PA40.

I have configured PA, PSA, EG, ESG, assigned PA to Company code, country grouping,

assigned Employee subgroup to Employee group. All newly defined features (PA, PSA, EG, ESG) are appearing in the respective list/fields (F4).

I have maintained number range (internal) No. 02 From No. 00070000 To No.00079999 current number 70295.

I have defined

WERKS Personnel Area

- 7474 xxxx-Pune

-02

- Otherwise

|-PERSK EMployee Subgroup

|-1

| |-02

|-otherwise

|-02

Return value is 02 for PA and ESG. Do I need to define Employee group or Personnel Subarea as well?

I have checked the decision tree is error free also in Table T529A- FC is set to 1.

However I haven't made any settings in SAP Easy access menu for Personnel numbers.

Could you please suggest why I am unable to get the default Personnel numbers while hiring new employees?

The NUMKR feature can be defined by PA PSA EG ESG.

We are not clear about what do u want?

Do you want the number range 02 to come when PA is PUNE and ESG is 1?

OR

Do you want Number range 02 to come when PA is Pune or ESG is 1

Do you want your condition to satisfy both criteria or only one.

Hi Ravee,

I want Number Range 02 (Internal) to suggest default personnel number When PA is 7474-Pune, It would be helpful if 02 Number Range applies to all Employee Subgroups or Employee Groups.

Please assign only the PA and give the Number range. Remove other parameters and keep only one Otherwise.

Try like this, from this fao every EG u are assigning the 05 number range and only for inactive u r assigning number range o3.

Hi

You cannot have two conditions working on the same node.

That is the error it is throwing.

| |___ PERSK Employee Subgroup - thisis probably culprit as you have not specified the personnel area value and attached Personnel subarea with it. First you need to assign the return value of first parameter then only you can assign a new decision parameter.

Hi,

If you want to use Employee sub group then first create employee group then under it create Employee sub group. You have assigned employee sub group directly under Personal Area thats ahy error is occuring.

The value is existing there... ESG is 09.

That is not the problem.

Please attach a screen shot of the numkr feature tree (if possible)

Thanks all, Things are looking fine now...Now I am trying to transport Number range intervals from initial screen for number range interval maintenance but the transport option is not active even after choosing the number ranges.

can somebody please suggest what I am missing here?

You cannot transport Number ranges.

These need to be configured in every server.
