changes in master data

When i want to delete the data in a cube,in order to do some changes in master data,after that do i have to schedule again,in order to get data to the targets?(for example if it is a content cube getting data form a ODS)

Schedule the data again to ODS,Update data in cube frm this ODS?Do i have to reactivate the transfer and update rules again and again after each change of master data?

    hi harika,

    i think u shud shedule it again to get the data --->ods -

    >inf cube

    also u have to reactivate tf/upd from time to time ...

    since u initially have to make changes in ods and then into cube...

    i'm a beginer though...someone correct me if i'm wrong

    Hi,

    Yes if you delete the data from the cube, then you have to re-schedule the loads from the ODS.

    But you don't have to re-activate the transfer rules and update rules for changing the master data. Changing data has nothing to do with the rule activation.

    These rules needs to be re-activated only if you change any tr/up rule or the structure of the data target.
