Material master

Hi Experts,

When i am trying to create a material master, there Material Description field is missing in "BASIC DATA-1" so when i am saving it says, MATERIAL DESCRIPTION NOT FULLY MAINTAINED.

Hi,

Please check with the following Material Master Settings :

Go to T-Code : OMS9 or SPRO>IMG>Logistics General>Material Master>Field Selection>Maintain Field selection for Data Screens>

In Field selection Group Select 20

You will have MARA-MAKTX ( Material Description ) field appeared.

Select MM01 , MM02 Radio Buttons as required Entry and save.

It should solve the problem.
