How to call SAP EBP from an ASP form

Hi there,

Does anybody know how to connect an ASP form to SAP EBP 3.5 (via RFC or Direct Call...) and extract vendor data from a table to populate a listbox on the form? Any help is very much appreciated.

Thank you

Jens

    Hello,

If you are not meaning ASP.NET, but the old, COM-based ASP(Acitive Server Pages), please have a look at the DCOM Connector. You can download the DCOM Connector from http://service.sap.com/connectors too.

Because SAP will stop the support to DCOM Connector in 2 weeks, I strongly recommend you to consider moving from ASP + DCOM Connector to ASP.NET + .NET Connector.

    Regards,

      Hi Guangwei,

Thank you very much for your useful reply! Moving these forms to .NET is not an option unfortunately. DCOM should be ok just to display data on a form even without SAP support in the future.

      Cheers

      Regards,

      Jens
