Error with Deploy New archive and run

Hi,

I tried the example welcome for Webdynpro.

The deploying fails with the following error:

Welcome.ear -> Deployment aborted

Reason:

Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !

In the system console SAPMMC i found that the local J2EE Server is stopped.

Starting always fails.

What is wrong???

    Hi Christian,

    There may be many reasons why the J2EE server is not starting up. I suggest you check the logs and developer trace as why the J2EE server is not starting.
