outbound delivery creation

Hi, All,

Our business key user has one requirement.

For example, there only has one item in one SO, the quantity in this item is 200PC. This item will be partial delivery.

The outbound delivery #1 include 100 PC of this SO item, and the outbound delivery #2 include the other 100 PC. This is OK from our biz side. But, it is NOT allowed that one outbound delivery have two items, the first item's quantity in this outbound delivery is 100PC, the second item's quantity in the same outbound delivery is 100PC.

I do not know whether this requirement can be done by R/3 setting.

Thanks a lot!

Anny

Hi,

I agree with Mr. Ankur Agrawal doubt "what the benefit". please clarify that doubt to both of us. Any way read the following.

As per my understanding you have 200 pcs in single line item in SO. You want to do delivery 100 pc in line item 10 and 100 pcs in line item 20 of the delivery. To fulfil this requirement follow the below process.

1.Create delivery for 100 PCS and save the document write down the number

2. Go to change mode of the same delivery and go to Outbond Delivery > Deliver Sales Order from the Menu

3. Now system will give POP Up by asking the details like selection date, order number and line item of SO give the details

4. Press enter system will copy the remaining materials to the second line item in Delivery

Hope the above will fulfil u r requirement

Cheers

It can't be possible to get two separate Lines in Delivery with one Line Item in Sales Order. It can be achieved if you will mention two separate lines of 100 each in the Sales Order , only then the Delivery would have two Line Items.

But what is the benefit in terms of Business as per your requirement ?

Best Regards,

Dear LiFang,

Do you mean ..

you have a sales order with 2 items and qty 100 each and when you create a outbound delivery, system should not allow the delivery if there is 2 line items in delivery with equal qty?

If this is the scenario, i do no think there is any standard SAP configuration for this.

However the same can done using EXIT.

Thanks & Regards,
