Passing parameter of Portal login userID to R/3 transaction

Hi,

I want to free coding to pass the portal login user ID to R/3 query via iview's application parameter setting. The R/3 query fail to accepted the variable from iview parameter setting and workable to accepted for fixed constant, why?

Does anyone have any experience to how to fix this problem? thanks!

    I have the same problem. I don't know how pass variables and what portal global variables exist. You solved it?
