0PM_OM_OPA_2

Hi,

With data source 0PM_OM_OPA_2, we have performed delta init the first time, and then, subsequently, deltas and full uploads (with repair status). In the timestamp table over in the source system, the delta inits were with status C, delta extraction with status D and Fullupload with status F.

This process has been repeated by deleting the delta init, etc.

Recently, I repeated the process again, by deleting all requests from the ODS, and then repeating delta init.

In the timestamp table, in the source system, this delta init was not stamped, although it was successfully performed.

Following that, delta was performed, and this was successful. However, the minimum time stamp in the time stamp table, was dated back to the last delta (which was deleted), as the delta init does not exist in the time stamp table.

Anyone can help with this?

thks

    Hi,

maybe you have to investigate deeper about the reason for which a new init didn't stamp a new row in your delta management table...

but, at this point, if you are able to know what is the last timestamp record loaded in BW, then you can adjust the minimum timestamp entry in your table (accordind to COEP table entry) and then load a delta request; otherwise you have to do another init !

Feel free to ask for some additional info...

    Bye,

I can change the low level time stamp in BWOM2_TIMEST, if there was a delta or init delta which was posted before, despite them being deleted in BW.

However, in my production system, no delta or init has been performed. only Full Loads with repair. Thus, there's no Delta or Init time stamp in BWOM2_TIMEST.

What really puzzles me is, the Delta Init was successfully performed, in BW. Though, time stamp was not applied in Source System.

This data source was working, and now, all of a sudden, it's not anymore. Moreover, no changes were made to the data source!

    Puzzled.....

    Thks

    Rgds

It's clearly a std pgm problem...

take a look to the OSS Note 683138

'Incorrect Time-Stamp records in BWOM2_TIMEST' otherwise If not applicable, I suggest to you to open an OSS message to have some support!

      Then let me know!

      Bye,

      Roberto
