Hi,

We need to release sales order after a check. So i have created Status profile and assigned with Sales Order. After check we can either cancel or open the sales order.

But one more suggestion is using USAGE Indicator in Header. Using batch we can either allow or cancel the sales order.

I have used first one. But why can't we use second option too? Is there any valid point in selecting status profile?

Hi,

The usage defines the conditions under which a material is sold. It can be entered at item or header level. Entries made at header level are valid for all items.

The same material, but with different uses, can be sold to the same customer in separate items or orders.
