Help on RSDV required

Dear all,

I have to update the validity slice for my stock cube, using the transaction RSDV, but as I can not find any documentation for the transaction, I don't know what to enter as a parameter for RSDV.

Currently my validity slice is set to:

Vmode =

From Fix = 07.1999

From Rel =

To Mode =

To Fix = 11.2004

To Rel =

What do I have to enter, when I want to change my validity slice to 12.2004???

Hi Andreas,

in transaction RSDV you can determine the time period in which stocks can be calculated.

This time period is automatically determined using the oldest and most recent material movement.

If you have a report request to display stocks even further back in the past, you can change the time period manually.

If you want to change to 12.2004 your validity period you have to put it in 'To Fix = 11.2004'...but I think that you will not find anything related to this period !!!

I'm in a slightly different situation that Andreas. In my case, I need to use RSDV on InfoCube 0PAPA_C02 (HR Personnel Admin - Headcount) which is delivered with Business Content. Part of my business case requirements dictate that I must be able to see all the employees assigned to a specific area at moment in time or "snapshot" perspective so that any retroactive employee movements/promotions/transfers do not affect information that is provided to statutory and regulatory authorities.
