customizing datasources

hi

how can i customize an existing datasource?

For eg. if I want to add one more field 0ARTICLE_ATTR how do i do that?

how do I had code to populate data for this custom field while doing the extraction?

Hi Murali,

you have to go to RSA6, choose 0ARTICLE_ATTR, create an append on the extract structure with your ZZ* fields and then fill them by the dedicated user-exit via CMOD (create a project, assign the enhancement RSAP0001, and put your code in the include ZXRSAU02 in the exit EXIT_SAPLRSAP_002, specific for the master data).
