Email automation

I have developed a basic report. My requirement is that, when the user executes it, the output of the report should automatically go to a particular email address. The o/p can be of any format say html,notepad, excel ... (based on the user input) . Can anybody please help me to do this automation ?

Just a suggestion to simplify your effort... make use of ALV to output your report and all your requirement (e.g. send via email, download to excel/word) are all covered.

Obcourse, if you want to do it the hard way.... upto you.
