Hey folks,
I'm writing an article for a law review about autopayment failures and whether companies should be required to send autopayment failure notification emails to consumers rather than paper notice. This kind of requirement would mostly affect companies like life insurers or health insurers who have a reason to want at least some of their customers not to make their payments and not realize it as a basis for canceling the policies of actuarial bad risks.
My assumption has been that this would be very cheap and basically an option you can already toggle in existing customer payment management software like SAP. I was hoping that some of you may be able to provide me confirmation of that and a link to any documentation of instructions on how to manage the technical side of autopayment within SAP software.
Best,
Andrew
