Planning delivery time used to Factory calander

Hi,

Change the field u201CPlanning delivery timeu201D in material master data to use the factory calendar or a special calendar (if there is one) and consider the labor daysu201D.

At present, when using the field Planning delivery time in the material master data, the days are being calculated for the component to be delivered in the subcontracting flow, are not just taking into account the labor days.

Is the standard SAP functionality to confirm if itu2019s possible to consider the factory calendar when calculating the planning delivery time.

Please suggest me.

Planning delivery time is always in calendar days. Unfortunately, there is no standard way to influence this field based on factory or any special calendars. Since the issue is with respect to factoring in the labor days, why cant you include the labor days into the planned delivery time?

Try using transaction WPDTC. Under 'evaluation options', you have an option to have system calculate planned delivery time in calendar or workdays. When you select 'work days' as an option, the system will calculate the planned delivery time in work days (the preqrequisite is to have calendar ID country of vendor).

This transaction can also make relevant changes in purchasing info record, material and vendor masters, if needed.

Dear Shital,

I could not understand your exact requirement.Planned delivery time is defined at the individual material master level which

indicates the time required for the vendor to deliver the same and based on factory calendar setup the system identifies

whether a given day is working day or its a holiday and this is used for any date calculation in the system ,like during backward

scheduling or forward scehduling,MRP run etc.

This factory calendar is assigned to the plant in OX10.
