Hello

strange problem in a ECC 6.0 EHP4 kernel 7.01 level 136.

Security has created a massive number of users in the productive client.

For 3 of them we have this problem:

From su01 ---> F4 the 3 users are not shown.

If a write the user in the trx su01 directly i can see it.

For example from F4 i can see 576 users..

form su10 i see 579 and also from the corrispective table in oracle "USR*)

It isn't i big problem....anyway i'd like to know why this strange behaviour.

Thanks

Nick

Try to check if some details is missing in "user not found".

There is also a note, related to client copy, but i don't think it is valid in this case.

Possibly a search help exit is active?

not sure if its the case, but can it be the case that for three users created by securty, there may have been an extra space character attached at end of their ids while you in SU01 may not be using that space character. Space character is considered valid even at end of an user id where it has not meaning as such.

Hope it helps

I have seen this issue before but in a client copy situation and not in production. and we did the adjustments as per SAP note:- 499997. You might want to check with SAP for this case.
