WebConsole minimum profile permissions

Dear all,

I have two questions for you:

1)which are the most restrictive profile you can assign to an SAP Webconsole administrator?

2) Can I specify an custom folder in which I can distribute a file (for example an .zip file) as an ADD-On with my WebConsole?

thanks

Lorenzo

    I will check for the permissions the user need, but for your second qustion: Yes, you can set any folder for installation of other files when you declare an upload as "add-in".

    Follow the instructions given in the MDK. Shortly, follow these steps:

    1) Let's you have directory /addon

    2) Create subfolder /addon/meta-inf

    3) Create there a file named 'manifest.mf'

    4) Write in it the following line:

    INSTALLATIONDIR = <folder_you_want>

    for example:

    INSTALLATIONDIR = /installdir

    5) Pack the addon with root /addon, i.e. the archive will contain all files in the /addon, the meta-inf subfolder, but not the /addon folder itself.

    For more details refer to the MDK docs.

    Regards,

    Todor

    Hi,

    the only thing I know is to assign a role to this admin containing a profile which has the authorization object "S_TCODE" set to "SMOMO". Link to documentation:
