CCMS Alerts : automatically complete an alert ? Reinitiate an alert

Hello,

We are using sap solution manager 7.01 SPS04 as the CEN of our entire SAP infrastructure.

I would like to know if is possible after that an lalert has been raised and is in red in RZ20 (Current Status),

to aumatically Complete the alert ?

We received many similar alerts from one day to another particularly on PI.

Only the first alert is triggering an autoreaction method (emails), unless we manually complete the red alert in rz20,

we do not receive emails for the same alert the following days.

I wanted to know, if there is a way to automatically complete an alert , after a while, once thefirst alert has been raised.

Hi Raoul,

Using method CCMS_Segment_Space_Collect, you can automatically complete alerts which are older than the number of days specified in parameter CMPL_ALERT_AFTER_DAY

To do this, proceed as follows:

1. Transaction RZ21

2. Methods: Methods definitions -> Display overview

3. Double click on method CCMS_Segment_Space_Collect

4. Go to Parameters tab

5. Enter the desired parameter value of parameter CMPL_ALERT_AFTER_DAY
