Hi Anand,

I think this is a system design problem. The quantity column is available for the all types of documents because they share the same table structure. However, the initial designer of the application just blocked qty column for service document.

We have to live with it. To change a software architecture is a huge task that nobody would touch it.

You may manually put the qty in description and add UDF for qty and FMS for the amount.

Thanks,

Gordon

Hi Anand....

Do you want to purchase Generator from supplier or ou want to send for repair and maintenance with PO?

with PO you can not send the goods. And in Service PO if you want Service Qty then you can get it done by creating an UDF.....

Else create service Item and raise item PO instead of service and put Qty...

HI

In service 'PO',we are giving only the Expenditure G/L accounts .So its not an item to mention the quantity..

OR

If you want to maintain its quantity better you can maintain the service as purchased item and you can proceed with purchased

item and also u can also specify its group to classify it deeper....

HI Anand,

By default it is not available in sap. but if u want u cant rename any of the fields that is available in form settings or jus create udf as quantity... if u jus want to enter quantity it is more enough..
