Approval Service is not listed in Folder's settings option

Hi,

CM Version : 6.0.2.4.7

For the repository in question, I have activated StateManagement and Properties CM services. Even after that I do not see the option 'Approval' in Folder's Settings.

Hence I am not able to enable the approval service for a Folder. Any help is appreciated.

Hi Vishnu,

do you have service permission "Approver Administration" or "Full Control"? This is needed, see http://help.sap.com/saphelp_ep60sp2/helpdata/en/04/9053ad76fd0948b4ec2abf97898a3e/frameset.htm

Hi,

Yes I have Full Control for my user and still it does not show up. Even for 'documents' folder for which all the properties are set by default, Approval option is not shown up. But I see 'Approval Administration' in the list of service Permissions. I guess this show up only when the service is properly enabled for the repository in question.

Any ideas?

This should be the case...

Three steps:

- Check all prerequisities of the document mentioned above (if you have not already done so).

- If the problem persists, check error log as well as knowledge_managament log.

- If there are relevant entries, report. If not, open an OSS message.

At the moment, I think more can't be done / advised?!
