BBPSTART Error in SRM HTTP ITS Link

Dear Expert,

We have installed almost 3 ITS system in Dual Host installation.But in one system when we log in to the SRM HTTP link,it says BBPSTART not published.

We have completed all the post installation steps from SE80,SICF, and through SE38 publish service, but still it is not coming.

Request you to give expert advice if anything is missing.

Cannot Start Transaction

The Internet Transaction Server could not start the transaction "bbpstart" because of the following error: Transaction BBPSTART is unknown.

Hi Manas ,

What backend R/3 is this ITS instance connecting too?

Check in the global.srvc in the services folder for this ITS instance. Either the ~appserver or ~messageserver parameter will be set. Also ~systemname. If you logon via SAPGUI to this server - can you actually call this SRM transaction?

Check also the service file bbpstart.srvc - does it have the correct ~transaction parameter set?

it is SRM 4.0

If you logon via SAPGUI to this server - can you actually call this SRM transaction?

We can call this transaction

Steps:-If we go through SE80-internet services>BBPSTART>Right Click>Run transaction, It calls perfectly

We have Dual Host ITS Instances. A Gate and W gate in Separate Server.There are total 4 SAP system connected to this ITS instances.we have IIS v6.

I have check in A Gate System this two services--- global.srvc and bbpstart.srvc, they have correct parametres.

Still the error is coming in the link...

Hi Manas,

I would try and republish BBPSTART then from the SRM to the ITS Instance using the IACOR and see if you can call the service correctly after this.

Is the ~client parameter set in the bbpstart.srvc file? or is it blank?

Thank you again for your time.

The ~client parameter set in the bbpstart.srvc file is blank, its same for other Instance also which are running well.

Request you to please post the result of republish of BBPSTART ..

I am currently trying to get a REBOOT of ITS system in both A gate and W gate system.

Another thing, when we go the ITS main link and when I check the Instance Control panel, for this system, it is in RED mode, when i click start, it does not respond..
