VC only to display data, not change?

Hi,

do I understand it correctly that the VC is a great tool voor querying SAP data and displaying it, but that it's not designed to actually change data? For instance, creating an iView that enables user ro quickly and simple create a sales order?

    Hi Marcel,

    The Visual Composer is able to execute all types of RFC’s, so the only thing you have to do in order to create a new sales order is to use the correct RFC (BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT…)

    Note that in some cases you need to execute a commit RFC to commit the changes.
