Marketing Prospect

Hi everybody. I´m using ELM for SAP CRM 7.01 and i have the following questions:

1) What is "Marketing Prospect"? I think it is a kind of BP but in BP transaction (GUI) I can´t see the "marketing prospects" created,

2) Where can I see details of Marketing Prospects via GUI?

Marketing prospect is a new object created in SAP CRM by uploading an external list. There is a New Mapping format category u2013 Marketing prospects from CRM 7.0 .Marketing prospect is not a bp and has leaner structure than bp. Only header and marketing attributes. Currently it cannot be converted to BP. Can only be created through ELM and not manually.

The GUI transaction BP is no longer supported and only WebUI should be used.

Hi Antonio,

Marketing prospects can be created using ELM.

With CRM 7.0 EHP1, Marketing prospect can be converted to BP, From the BP created, lead creation can be performed, but not directly from the marketing prospects.

Hi,

Yes, Marketing attributes can be loaded using ELM for Marketing prospects.

The attributes are available when the Attribute set is made valid for "Marketing Prospect" option.
