Problem during Order Creation through IW31

Hi,

We have a Equipment Number XXXXXXXX. In it, Business Area is 1234 and Planning Plant is 101A.

When we are creating an Order through IW31, enter Equipment, related Planning Plant and DIFFERENT Business Area 1111. (not same as mentioned in Equipment master).

After that system showing message -

Object has deviant business area ( 1234 )

Message no. IW030

We want that Order should be created with related records only. Means when it meets all records like correct Business Area and Planning Plant, it should allow to create Order.

Please guide...

Hi,

You want to prevent the order being created with a business area that is different from equipment?

The message IW030 is issued as a warning only. It is hardcoded so cannot be changed to error. Only option would be to use a exit to prevent this. Exit IWO10009 could be used to check this and prevent order save.

Can you please check in t code OMJ7 , assignment of plant to Business Area and then that Plant to your equipment , any deviation ?

In OMJ7 tcode, all assignment is correct..
