SRM 7.0 Remove EDIT button from PO

Hi,

We are looking for an option to enabale/disable EDIT button on PO.

Here we are looking to have the EDIt button enabled, only if the user who is opening the PO is a BUYER. Other than buyer the user should not have the option to EDIT the PO.

Can anybody suggest a way to acheive this.

From different SAP forum replies, we found that this can be done through "Configure Control Actions " from the IMG settings.

Thanks in Advance.

Hi,

You can do this from "Configure Control Actions " from the IMG settings .

Configure Control action for BUS2201 for button EDIT and create a dynamic class and attach this class to this configuration

and in the method of dynamic class you will check the for the user is accesable for the buyer role.If he he is not authorised

you can disable this button.

please try yourself ..if not able to do please let me know i will provide this.

Devi

Once in PFCG you need to enter the role that you want to amend.

You click change and then navigate to the authorisations tab. Once here click on 'Change Authorisation Data' and then you can navigate to the BBP Component bit.

I suggest that you do this in your sandpit environment first and once you are happy with the change then amend the core role in config client and transport through the layer accordingly.

This is done via authorisations.

Simply go to the role in PFCG, expand 'BBP Component' and expand 'SRM: Process Purchase Orders'.

Then under 'Activity' uncheck '02' for Change.
