Hi All
I am facing one issue like
I have MRP controller,Purchasing grp etc. as character for release strategy. Now I have multiple line item in my PR in which Purch. grp/MRP controller(for non coded item it is blank) may vary.
Item wise release is also not acceptable as PR has several line items.
Can it be done from config. in some way so that overall release will trigger?
Pls advice.
Thanks & Regards
Hi
In the Release group details in config - spro select the flag "Overall release of purchase requisitions - OvRelPReq"
Design your release strategy using this release group
Also in the PR document type details in config - spro select the flag "Overall release of purchase requisitions - OvRelPReq"
Now create a PR using this document type and your problem should get solved
Release group for overall release and item level release will be different *

In ME55 you can release Multiple PR lines simultaneously.
In ME54N , you can select multiple Line Items and release them Simultaneously (There is a FLAG icon which you need to click after selecting relevant line items) .

Also if the Purchase Group/MRP Controller are different for different line item of the PR, the overall release strategy will not trigger.
It will trigger only when u have same Purchase Grp for all the line item of PR.

There is one flag call Overall Release for PR in configuration of release groups for the PR release strategy.
U have to select that check box and then try.
