Initially I confirmed 2 lines from snc and both confirmations were visible in ecc and then went back to snc and truncated the outbound confirmation and process the XML with just 2nd schd line confirmation. The confirmation got processed but only the second line is visible, ecc replaced this new one line confirmation with that of earlier which had 2 lines confirmed.

please give me solution.

1. i send 2 confirmation from snc to ecc for SA.

2. ecc displays these confirmation.

3. then i sent 1 confirmation by deleting other confirmation from same xml message.

4. in this case ecc just showed me only 1 confirmation.

ecc replaced this new one line confirmation with that of earlier which had 2 lines confirmed.

issue is i do not want ecc to replace the confirmations.

Hi Nitin

What is the mapping you used to bring SA confirmation to ECC, and which release you are on??

How did you maintain confirmation control in ECC side!!!!

What notes you maintained to consider it as SA confirmations.

How you are uploading xml!!!! is it that you dont want to users to upload their confirmations???

As this is not a standard procedure, SNC does not send confirmations to ECC but it sends to SAP APO

When you "Save+Send" confirmations, the confirmation xml carries all the confirmation details of all the schedule lines. So when you first confirmed 2 lines, it sent these 2 confirmations to ECC and was displayed on the Order document.

Irrespective of the number of lines changed or modified, the system sends all the confirmation lines.

Subsequently when you deleted one confirmation and edited the other, the second confirmation message carried only one confirmation line.

Thus on the ECC side it is bound to display only one confirmation. Should it not be in-synch with the SNC data?

If you expected teh deleted confirmation(in SNC) which was previously sent, to show up, you should not have deleted it.

The update / delete on the ECC side is controlled by the associated process code.

You may check the behavior in case of PO Confirmations since that is standard a process.

But to my knowledge, it seems to work as expected from what you mention.

Thanks
