Hello everyone
I need your input regarding a situation:
We hv 2 sub-units of a Company in our environment:
Unit 1: CCode = ABC, Sales Org = ABC , Div = 00
Unit 2: CCode = XYZ, Sales Org = XYZ , Div = 10 & 20
Now unit 1 is taking over the Sales of Division 20 & however the fulfillment will be done on its behalf by Unit 2.
So we decided to make use of Inter Company Sales process...
However Unit 1 wants to be able to sell the products of division 00 & 20 on the same Order.
Now as far as I know .. Sales Order is specific to one division.
Hence the only solution I think is to change the division of all items belonging to division = 20 to division = 00
However this is not what is going to happen in the real world. There will still be a separate product line existing for division 20 ... (even if we convert them to division 00 for our requirement)
So does it sound wise to convert the items for division 20 to division 00 ?
If not, What can be a potential solution to placing a Sales Order in ECC with items belonging to different divisions ?
Let me know
Thanks
Vin
Hi,
However Unit 1 wants to be able to sell the products of division 00 & 20 on the same Order.
Now as far as I know .. Sales Order is specific to one division.
You can process material from many division in one single order type
Go to VOV8 >> go to sales order details >> sub tab general control
Check division - blank or 1
Tick mark to item division
so division from material master will come in sales order it will help to drag reports on basis of division even though sales order type is one.
