Display only access to infoPackages and Process Chains

Is there a transaction or method that would allow me to grant access to view, but not change, infoPackages and Process Chains.

In our multi-system environment, I want to grant access to users on another system to view how we have set up infoPackages and process chains without giving them the access to change them.

Thanks,

Kevin

    Kevin,

Yes, you can do that via Admin Workbench, RSA1 -> Transport Connection -> Object Changeability button -> Switch the Object type to "Not changeable" :

    a) RSPC

    b) RSPT

    c) RSPV

    d) ISIP

    e) ISIG

Please let me know if not workable.

    Regards,

    Lye

      Kevin,

This can be achieved using Authorisations.

Run trans PFCG and create a new Role.

Click the Authirizations tab and then click the change authorisation button.

      Ignore and template selection.

Once you get to the Change Roles:Authorisations screen, hit F9 and expand 'Business Information Warehouse'

Click what looks loke the London Uderground sign ( circle with red line and it will turn into a green cross) and then click Insert Chosen.

Expand the new auth and click on the Pencil to change the values, you want

      Activity: Display

      Administrator Workbench Object: InfoPackage.

Assign this role to users you do not want changing InfoPackages.

Not sure about Process Chains but i will have a look I imagine it will be something similar.
