Hi
We are maintaining the Fiscal year for India company code as January to December based on global tempate requirements.
However when we are trying to print WHT - TDS certificates for Jan-Mar 11 quarter, system takes the new number range starting from 1 (which is maintained for year 2011). But we require the certificate number to continue from December 10 onwards. The same issue will repeat when we print certificate for April-Mar 11 quarter as the system will take the pick up the number sequencially from previsous quarter based on the fiscal year assignment. Please help me how to resolve this issue?

Dear:
The reason behind this is that number ranges in FI are mostly kept fiscal year dependent as you can see them in FBN1. Number ranges are started from new as soon as new fiscal year starts. This is for your information.

Hi Atif
Thanks for quick response. The present scenario is that the India company code follows global fiscal year variant which is Jan-Dec. However for issuing WHT certificate, we require sequencial numbering staring from April to March. I was looking for any standard solution rather than going for developing custom number objects.
