Hi
We currently have SAP on Oracle 9i and are going to SQL 2008 using the SSMA tool
Does SAP fully support this migration approach and will they support they SAP solution after migrating from one DB platform to another?
Are there any documents ont his and them confirming that this approach is ok and that post migration the solution is supported?
JAy
Hi Jay,
You will need to order a migration toolit/key from SAP. This requires that you have an OS/DB migration certified professional on the project, or contract with SAP for the service.

Alan

Hi Jay,
As far as I know migration using SSMA tool is not supported, In order to get support for the migration you will need to use the R3LOAD based procedures, Read.
Note 767691 - Migration of SAP Systems to/from MS SQL Server
Note 1054852 - Recommendations for migrations to MS SQL Server
