How to get the value of a dropdown_item?

Hi,

First of all I'm new in all of this, so sorry if I say some crazy thing. (sorry my bad english too)

I'm doing a web with WAD. In this web I load a dropdown_item with a dataprovider. I would like to get what I set in the dropdown_item in a variable (of javascript for example) to send it to other web or show it by screen. Is it possible?
