Good afternoon.
I have the following problem, very similar to the one described in the "how to..use variables for currency conversion".
I am using a virtual characteristic (ZDATE) in order to derive a date from a "real" characteristic(ZSEAN).
This actually works.
Then I need to perform the currency conversion (ZCONV) in the business explorer, with a date depending on this virtual Characteristic's date (variable time reference A), so that each line uses a different calculation date.
Now the currency conversion does not work and I wonder if this is due to the fact that there is only 0CALMONTH and no 0CALDAY in the cube (and thus no SID in any dimension table).
Thanks to anybody helping me.
Hi,
check out if currency key settings as of any use to you. As you define currency key settings u could make the system points to the zdate for currency calculation.
Thanks

Thanks sampath
but I already set the currency conversion so that the time reference is a variable time reference to the exact day (A) and the special infoobject is mine.
But it actually doesn't work. It works if u set 0calmonth, e.g., which is a "real" date, but it does not work if u set zdate, which is a virtual characteristic).
