Integration of FICA with CO-PA

Hi Experts,

I knw we can transfer records form FICA to FI/GL using FPG1 after closing the reconciliation keys.

Likewise, how can we transfer records from FICA to CO-PA? I know the transcation code(FPG3) but its not working for me.Not even giving me any error message. Just says "No Reconciliation Key found" even thogh i am giving a closed reconciliation key.

Can somebody tell me are there any pre-requisites to transfer records to CO-PA or maybe a process which I don't know.

Regards,

Richa Tyagi

Richa :

First and foremost thing is what all GL accounts are affected in your posting , are there any revenue / expense nature of GL account . As they have to be created as cost elements if controlling is in place .

Secondly , in FPF3 you can find the status of the reco. key whether there is a need to transfer the same to COPA or not .

On the other hand the settings for COPA - pertaining to charecteristics and value filed is maintained under the node of Integration - controlling in contract accounts receivable and payable - in SPRO .

check the same in FPF3 and if the status is like " transfer to PA not taken place " and you are unable to transfer the reco key then it would be an issues else , check for the GL's which are getting posted in your reco key .
