data load problem

hai all,

i have to load data from cube to another cube. so i have taken all the necessary steps for this. i.e.

1. exported the data source for the source cube.

2. replicated the datasources.

3. activated the communication structure.

4. created and activated the updated rules.

but the problem is i am getting zero records from the source cube, even it has got 5000 records.

for your info there no error requests which are marked yellow or red for this cube and also there are no aggregates associated with this cube.

the message i am getting is

<i>No data available

Diagnosis

The data request was a full update.

In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not

contain any data.

System response

Info IDoc received with status 8.

Procedure

Check the data basis in the source system.</i>

try to execute this program that activate the infosouce:

transaction SE38

RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL

execute the program and than input the name of the infosouce of the dataload in the cube.

i did what you have advised,

it is givng the log display message as No Transfer Structure Selected

i think in my bw system transfer structure is not being activated or created.

Hi Vijay !

I think you are still facing the problem occurred some days ago...if you are not set anything in the selection tab of your infopackage, and you are sure that there is some record in the fact table of your source cube...

just a thought, do you have defined your destination cube with a reference to the source one ?

yes i have defined the destination cube with a reference to the source one. will this be any problem. if yes pls help me in how to solve this problem.

Vijay, try to create your destination cube with the source one as a template and not as a reference and then reload...hope this helps...
