Can I delete old Daily Work Schedules?

In Dev System, if I need to delete the Old DWS, I created new names keeping the old parameters.

Do I require to move it through transport to Quality and Production?

When I delete old DWS and save, it prompts for a transport request.

What should I do?

Why you want to delete the old DWS ?

You can delete the old DWS if it is not used.

Also you need to check if there is any WSR that is associated with these DWSs .( work schedules which is using PWS in which the DWS used) . Before deleting you need to make sure that the deleted DWS is not assigned with any of the current WSR

Because, I needed to change the names of DWS as requested by user, I copied the old and re-named keeping the old parameters. Now I need to delete the old DWS that I copied to new ones.

Do I need to create a Transport request, sys prompts TR when I click save after deleting DWS in Dev system?

If yes, Do I need to move TR to Production?

The best is dont delete the old one, any way you changed the name( created new with the same settings or copied from the old one) , assigned in the new one in PWS as well you regenerated the WSR and these things are transported .

If you want to delete it then move it to production , before that make sure everything is fine in DEV

Yes you have to create the request and transport to PROD.

I have deleted ta few duplicate old DWS and moved transport from Dev to QA, user has tested and confirmed to move it to Production.

Now User has added 2 more DWS to be deleted. My Question-

Can I add these changes to the old transport ( it has been released to QA already)? If yes, is there a specific process to release this modified transpor?

or

Should I create a new transport to include these 2 deleted DWS, move it to QA have the user test and then move these 2 Transports to Production separately?

As mentioned by Haji, nothing can be added or changed to a transport once it has been released. You will have to create a new transport for any additional changes required. If the second transport is released before the first one is applied into PRD, just make sure that they are both applied in PRD in the same sequence that they were released (since they affect the same objects).
