For my JC0 connection is says that the group PUBLIC could not be found (I tried switching to administrators group, didn't work as well) I have added the public group in the J2EE Admin Console, and the user admin via the web. What the heck is wrong? Do I need to somehow add it to my SMD?
I also added myself to both groups ofcourse, I dont have an ABAP backend so I cant use the trans pcgf.
Thanks! Graeme.
Hi Graeme,
your last sentence: "I dont have an ABAP backend so I cant use the trans pcgf" is the keynote here. JCO does not work without a local or remote ABAP backend. The missing group has nothing to do with user groups on your OS, it's a logon group which must be configured in the ABAP "world", not in the OS you're running with.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Stefan
